Trudy Renee Events and Décor

I have always enjoyed all things elegant, from home décor to weddings and other events. I served as the “Women’s Day Chair Lady” for my church in 2014 alongside my sister in-law who was the Co-Chair Lady. We wanted to give our senior saints something to look forward to. So, we decided to take it up a notch or two. While decorating for our fundraising events, from a “Hat Show” to a “Valentine's Day Ball,” our actual “Women's Day Luncheon” was a hit, with beautiful gold and white tablescapes, drapery and ceiling décor. Our senior saints were overjoyed. Instantaneously, I became the decorator for the church. At first, that is all it was, and I was okay with that. I just loved working for the church. Eventually, I was asked to decorate for weddings, vowel renewals, baby showers, and birthday parties. I never thought to make a career out of this, I just wanted to make people happy for just a few hours and provide great memories.

As it turns out, I have a knack for decorating. I thank GOD every day for leading me in accepting the charge to become the Women’s Day Chair Lady. I had no interest in it and I really did not want it. I remember a conversation with my Pastor about accepting the charge, I had some things going on in my life that I felt would prevent me from doing a good job. I told him that my circumstances would not allow me to accept this position. He told me not to worry about my circumstances, when GOD calls you to do something, you just do it, and GOD will handle your circumstances. I give thanks to my Pastor for the encouragement. I thank my family for the support and the encouragement. I have a wonderful team who assists me, and they are the best. I could not do it without them.

I struggled with the execution of this business, but here I am, following a dream that I did not realize was for me.

My mission is to provide happiness to others, to be able to bless someone, and give back.

Thank you, GOD, for Your Love, Your Strength, and Your Power.
